During and after cystoscopy, the following points need to be noted:

1. Avoid moving your body or resisting during the examination to prevent injury when dilating the urethra.
2. Try to relax the pelvic floor muscles and do not contract the urethral sphincter, which is more conducive to the insertion of the scope.
3. If under special circumstances, spinal anesthesia or even general anesthesia is used, hospitalization for the examination is required.
4. If spinal anesthetics are used, try not to curl up or lie on your side to avoid worsening discomfort.
